Into the light Our footsteps vanish from earth And on our knees Our trembling hands betray hope Our fading dreams to fall down Broken to the ground To wash away the sins our fathers left here The sun Goes down Never to rise Awash in brine Our bodies lie And though we're still Our movements can be traced, now Towards the ruination of the land, go To see what higher truth there may be found here As far as I can see you find none, return Cracked paint, rust seeks New openings Torn down, rebuilt Cyclicality Arise serpents From the fallow to the mating ground The fertile seed of the war machine The silent towers where the corpses lie Our selfish way To prevent decay The grindstone sharpens to a careful point Only to be dulled making use of it To prevent death we stifle life itself A careful shell whose frail bones bend no more The useless husk of ancient apathy No will to go on and no will to stop When we feel alive We soon return to fear demise Filled with remorse New wounds appear Missteps compound No path is clear

Taken away Who will grasp this Crux of Indignation Branded and sold The Highest bidder - the life bought Traded upon it's worth When will we see freedom again Until the last torch is put out - begin The restoration of all that we fought for The congregation of those that sought war Never back down

Lost in time The space between each world entrapped There stands before us a great chasm That we will fall in if careless And we are subject To the laws of life Will to power filter out Those unworthy of their lives Choice - the burden lies on you Keep your values always clear

Ride through the barren wastes To find a source of truth Time will hold nothing back Summon the will to fight on I find myself slipping away The future and past, it's all turning gray Taken to distant shores through my memories Of glimpses through the lens Vastness Before me all I can see is empty The place to grow anew And yet, with all I have The will to change is tough to hold Passivity a disease

I stand atop the peak And submit before the Gods That my path be laid The clearing mist illuminates a road ahead My fate has been decided The wolf appears before me Sheltering wind envelops me And the lighting strikes I search for a sign It is true I killed my mentor And yet I am not his murderer Only dreaming This dream will not end When will I arise And find my true self Overgrowth Spiraling bramble Twisted branches Cut at my flesh Stench of death Putrid air Fills my lungs Impossible to breathe Moistness clinging To my frail body My hands are trembling Cut through Sheltering wind envelops me And the lighting strikes We have arrived Spiraling bramble Twisted branches Cut at my flesh Stench of death Putrid air Fills my lungs Impossible to breathe Moistness clinging To my frail body I stand atop the peak And submit before the Gods That my path be laid

Too far did I fly Into the future A horror seized Upon me. Looking backwards Homewards, always faster. Look around me, lo Time was my only peer Although so alarmed- I had yet to laugh. You could wear no better masks Than your own faces. Times and people gaze Out of your veils. Who would strip you Of your veils and wrappers Concealed Behind false professions of worth-you hide Away from becoming greater than you are Overcoming normalcy Concealed Behind false professions of worth-you hide Away Half-open doors are you At which grave-diggers wait Thus is your life- All deserves to perish

about

A collection of previously unpublished songs and demos. Most of the material is from 2013-2015. Many of the songs were written as demos for my band Myopic. All the songs were recorded individually over several years, and the production reflects that. For this release, everything was remastered to better fit together. I hope you enjoy this brief history of my work ;)
